OCTOBER 27, 2015: The Ad Club Board of Directors passed a unanimous vote to change the dates of the organization’s membership year. Effectively immediately, the new period is defined as January 1 - December 31.

Applied to both current and new memberships, the change is described as a “logical step” by Ad Club President Jill Brass. “The fall is typically a very busy time of year for our industry,” said Brass. “By moving the start of our membership year from October 1 to January 1, we are aligning our calendar with those of our members and of the ADDY competition.”

To ensure there is no lapse of benefits through the new start date, current membership will be given a complimentary three-month membership extension.

“The only effect to our current membership is more value,” said Brass. “We hope to see more renewals and activations at the start of the year. Particularly before the first ADDY Award entry date on January 9.”
